Lófinda Candles tested the selling scene in February 2020, just as I was returning back to work from a 5 months maternity leave (crazy right!). I left feeling inspired and wanting to create a small homemade candle business formally. Then COVID-19 happened, and I decided to sell on different platforms. We launched a website in June, and now on Etsy since September. Only a crazy determined person like me would do all this, look after 2 boys, and also work from home full-time during lock down!

Why Candles? Self care is absolutely important. Scents have a positive effect on our mood, sleep enhancement, physical and cognitive performance, self confidence and stress reduction. So for the past 3 years I have been making scented soy wax candles as Christmas gifts for family and friends. I love making scented candles and the constant encouragement from family is what brought Lófinda Candles to life. We sell scented soy wax candles, which are vegan friendly. Soy wax is natural, no carcinogens, no pollutants, and no toxins and therefore can be used around pregnant women , children and pets. We also sell wax melts, car diffusers and candle accessories. All our products are handmade; our scented candles and wax melts are hand poured. Self-care is important, self-care is not selfish. We hope you love what you see
